i'm late

[originally posted on spacehey] late entry but the demo is out now! which also means my degree is finally over, but i’m going to be studying something else next year anyway cuz the industry isn’t great for new jobs rn (shhh don’t suggest anything else it’s the industry not me lmao). had a lot of fun making it, also a lot of stress but that’s how it goes. our final presentations of the game were def the best ones we’d given during the whole project so that was good. i’m very happy with/proud of how the art came out, the art team really did a good job, totally carried me lmao. the student con we did last saturday also went pretty well, a couple students played and we got to chat with some people. pretty much all the feedback on it is stuff we’ve already got on our to do list. for the full game i kind of want to start from scratch, especially on the movement part. probably gonna end up pivoting over to movement shooter (or maybe even not shooter? still first person, i wanted to do this other idea from the start but there’s not many examples of others doing it so it’s hard to portray the vision without just saying trust me man…). either way we got a lot to work on to get it done. in the mean time i’ve got smaller ideas i wanna work on here and there, hopefully get back into game jams again too now i won’t have as much pressure. anyway, get the demo now and tell us what you think!
